How do I know my doctor will approve Modicine® PatientWear during my procedure?
Doctor approval is recommended. A Modicine® PatientWear representative is available to facilitate this process. We encourage patients to actively participate in decisions about their healthcare and speak to their doctor about Modicine PatientWear prior to their procedure.

Are the Modesty Bra and Modesty Brief safe to wear in an operating room?
Yes, the lightweight undergarments are made of a breathable, surgical-grade material. Modicine® PatientWear products are bonded with MicrobeCareTM to keep you safe from bacteria and the spread of infection.
MicrobeCareTM is an antimicrobial and antibacterial spray that reduces the risk of cross-contamination.
It promotes 4-log (99.99%) reduction of broad-spectrum microbes, including: bacteria, viruses, fungi, algae and yeasts such as MRSA, HIV and E.coli.

When should I open my Modicine® PatientWear for my procedure?
Do not open packaging until you check-in for your procedure. Your pre-op nurse will instruct you on when to apply your Modicine® PatientWear.
How are the Modesty Bra and Modesty Brief applied?
The Modesty Bra is a bandeau that securely wraps around the chest. Adjustable fastenings can be tightened—depending on comfort—while allowing doctors to access the surgical site with minimal patient exposure. The Modesty Brief is designed with an anti-migration band to prevent the garment from shifting during procedures for maximum coverage.
The design of Modicine® PatientWear products makes them easy to put on and take off after a surgical procedure or during your recovery process.
Do you offer the products in different sizes?
The Modesty Bra and Modesty Brief come in multiple sizes and can be modified for different body types.
